Volleyball Recap: Winfield Takes a Loss

Winfield was the 2-1 winner over Clearwater when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Indians on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10.

Karsyn Hutto paced Winfield's offense, picking up five kills. Hutto got some help from Addie Flaton and her 11 assists.

Winfield has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-22 record this season. As for Clearwater, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-18 record this season.

Coincidentally, Winfield and Clearwater will both be playing Collegiate the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Spartans on Tuesday, while the Indians will host them on Thursday.
