            Baseball Recap: Basic Wolves vs. Faith Lutheran Crusaders        
        
		
        
        
            Basic extended their postseason success on Thursday against Faith Lutheran. They beat the Crusaders by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  8-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Troy Southisene made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. What's more,  he posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Tate Southisene, who  went 3-for-5 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Lyndon Lee, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
