Basketball Recap: Spring Gets the Win

While Spring didn't have the best season last year (they finished 14-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Magnolia Bulldogs by a score of 47-36 on Friday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 42-37 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.

Spring's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Magnolia, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Spring won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Reagan at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Magnolia has already played their next contest (against Texas City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
