On Tuesday Saline's undefeated season almost came to an end. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Grand Blanc Bobcats. The five-run effort marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Casey Griffin was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Zosia Mazur also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Saline's record now sits at 5-0. As for Grand Blanc, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Saline will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bobcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
