Basketball Recap: Old Suwanee Christian Conquerors vs. Bible Baptist Christian Eagles
Old Suwanee Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 78-57 to the Bible Baptist Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Conquerors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 548th, while the Eagles are ranked 249th).
Bible Baptist Christian was led to victory by Trent Hamilton and Michael Greene. Hamilton dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards, while Greene went 9 of 17 on his way to 22 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Greene has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Hamilton, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds.
Old Suwanee Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Bible Baptist Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kings Way Christian School the next time they take the court. Bible Baptist Christian will host Kings Way Christian School at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Old Suwanee Christian will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
