Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest fought the good fight in their overtime match against Layton Christian Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-3. Hillcrest haven't had much luck with Layton Christian Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lucas Felix and Bridger Healy scored all three of Hillcrest's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Hillcrest now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Layton Christian Academy, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hillcrest is set to take on their familiar foe Jordan at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Layton Christian Academy will challenge rival Tooele at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
