Baseball Game Preview: Rosebud-Lott Cougars vs. Bosqueville Bulldogs

The Rosebud-Lott Cougars will venture away from home to square off against the Bosqueville Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rosebud-Lott is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Rosebud-Lott duked it out with Granger on Friday. Rosebud-Lott walked away with a 9-6 win over Granger.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bosqueville). They blew past Bruceville-Eddy 21-0 on Friday. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bosqueville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. Rosebud-Lott's win bumped their record up to 10-5-1.

Rosebud-Lott couldn't quite finish off Bosqueville when the teams last played back in February and fell 8-6. Can Rosebud-Lott avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
