Basketball Game Preview: Portland Christian Eagles vs. Louisville Collegiate Amazons & Titans

The Portland Christian Eagles will face off against the Louisville Collegiate Amazons & Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Portland Christian will be strutting in after a win while Louisville Collegiate will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, everything went Portland Christian's way against Cornerstone Christian Academy as Portland Christian made off with a 46-21 victory. The Eagles pushed the score to 37-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Louisville Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 51-34 bruising from Kentucky Country Day.

The win made it two in a row for Portland Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-5. As for Louisville Collegiate, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Portland Christian against Louisville Collegiate in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 61-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Portland Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
