Michigan Lutheran had lost four games at home, but after bumping their record up to 6-7 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers with a sharp 15-1 victory. The Titans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Ben Liebich made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Michigan Lutheran's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-7 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, Michigan Lutheran got a massive performance out of Anthony Ealey, who went 2-for-3 with six stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those six stolen bases gave Ealey a new career-high. Owen Heston also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Michigan Lutheran was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .542. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

As for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7. The game marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

On Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Jasheway, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run. Jasheway has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
