Baseball Recap: Pinon Comes Up Short

Pinon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ganado Hornets. On the bright side, the five- run performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Pinon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ganado, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3-1.

Pinon has already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Many Farms on the 20th. As for Ganado, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-2 loss against Monument Valley on the 23rd.
