Basketball Game Preview: Lewis County Lions vs. Bath County Wildcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions challenge the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewis County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Bath County likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Lewis County came up short against Fleming County and fell 77-68.

Meanwhile, Bath County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 65-61 to Raceland. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bath County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Lewis County, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.

Lewis County came up short against Bath County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 52-47. Can Lewis County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
