After a string of four wins, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-12, 27-29, 26-24, 15-13.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Piedmont Community Charter, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they will head out to challenge Mountain Island Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
