Basketball Recap: Animo Robinson Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four games, Animo Robinson finally came back down to earth on Sunday. They had to suffer through a 91-17 loss at the hands of the Crossroads Roadrunners. The match marked the Monarchs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Animo Robinson's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10. As for Crossroads, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Animo Robinson will welcome Gertz-Ressler at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crossroads, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
