After a string of five wins, North Hopkins's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 54-45 to the Como-Pickton Eagles. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 51-40.

North Hopkins' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-14. As for Como-Pickton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-23.

North Hopkins has already played their next contest (against Boles), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Como-Pickton Eagles take on the Yantis Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
