Goliad waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors & Cherokees, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Goliad took every set by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-6, 25-8.

Makenley Moody and Alyson Cadena certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Moody had ten digs and six assists, while Cadena had seven digs.

Goliad's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Tuloso-Midway, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-8.

Goliad has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Calhoun on the 12th. As for Tuloso-Midway, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Taft on the 12th.
