Basketball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 63-41 to the West Carter Comets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Comets since December 3, 2019.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for West Carter, their victory bumped their record up to 4-20.

Looking ahead, Fairview will host Phelps at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Carter, they will venture away from home to square off against Fleming County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
