Basketball Recap: Archbishop Hoban Takes a Loss

If Archbishop Hoban was feeling good fresh off their 67-47 takedown of Canton Central Catholic last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Archbishop Hoban Knights fell just short of the Nordonia Knights by a score of 43-41 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Archbishop Hoban came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Nordonia is ranked 212th).

Archbishop Hoban's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Nordonia, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Hoban will head out to square off against McKinley at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in McKinley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Nordonia, they will host Twinsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Twinsburg will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Nordonia surely won't give up without a fight.
