Baseball Recap: Lakota East Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

The Lakota East Thunderhawks were able to grind out a solid win over the Pickerington Central Tigers on Saturday, taking the game 7-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderhawks.

Lakota East's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Pickerington Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Lakota East will host Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pickerington Central, they will square off against Reynoldsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
