Basketball Recap: Rowan County Triumphs

Rowan County won against Coastal HomeSchool last Monday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Rowan County Vikings secured a 61-55 W over the Greenup County Musketeers. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got Rowan County back to even at 6-6. As for Greenup County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rowan County will face off against Fleming County at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Fleming County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Greenup County, they will host Lewis County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
