Baseball Game Preview: West Washington Senators vs. Paoli Rams

The West Washington Senators will venture away from home to face off against the Paoli Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Washington's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Paoli's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

West Washington's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Saturday's struggle, when Christian Academy hitters got past them. The Senators took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Saturday. The loss was the Senators' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Paoli also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Springs Valley by a score of 4-1.

Paoli saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Hickman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Paoli's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for West Washington, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

West Washington beat Paoli 3-0 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Senators since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
