Baseball Recap: Clearwater Takes a Loss

Clearwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Senath-Hornersville Lions, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Fightin' Tigers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Clearwater's loss dropped their record down to 7-22. As for Senath-Hornersville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-14.

Clearwater didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Winona on the 11th. As for Senath-Hornersville, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-6 win against Puxico on the 11th.
