Recap: Walled Lake Western Warriors vs. Mason Bulldogs
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Walled Lake Western Warriors, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of Mason by a score of 44-41. Walled Lake Western's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Walled Lake Western still got an impressive performance from Gavin Noonan, who rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Troy Temple got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Walled Lake Western's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Mason, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Walled Lake Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mason will face off against King at 7:00 p.m. on November 18th. King will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 68th, while Mason is ranked seventh).
