            Baseball Recap: Mountain View Toros vs. Chandler Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            Mountain View came tearing into  Friday's  contest with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   6-2  win over the Chandler Wolves. This was payback for the Toros, who suffered  a  10-0  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Justice Yanke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in four consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  Beckham Barney was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lincoln Arrington, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  stolen base.
The  victory  got Mountain View back to even at 8-8. As for Chandler, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-1 record  this season.
 Mountain View is taking a road trip to  face off against Dobson  at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. Mountain View is facing Dobson at the right time seeing as Dobson is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Chandler, they will welcome Marana  at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday.
