Volleyball Recap: Faith Brown Key Part of Team Effort in Comets Win + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Grand Ledge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Everett Vikings on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Grand Ledge was: they took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-6.

Grand Ledge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Faith Brown, who had seven aces and three digs. Those seven aces gave Brown a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Avery Klopp, who had nine aces and nine assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Grand Ledge was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 29 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Grand Ledge has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-15-2 record this season. As for Everett, they dropped their record down to 0-25 with the defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Grand Ledge has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against East Lansing on the 28th. As for Everett, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Waverly on the 28th.
