Basketball Recap: Northside L Gets the Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Thursday. Northside L came out on top against Kansas City East Christian Academy by a score of 58-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northside L.

Northside L found their leader in sophomore ETHAN RODECKER, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. RODECKER continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of BEN HEASTON, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards.

Kansas City East Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Damian Law, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Maddox Carrillo, who scored 15 points and six rebounds.

Northside L's victory bumped their record up to 23-19. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-23.

Northside L wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-36 loss against Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool on the 14th. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-80 win against SWCHA S on the 14th.
