Boaz took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Douglas, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Boaz Pirates won by a goal and slipped past the Douglas Eagles 3-2. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Boaz is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matchups. Douglas is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
