Bourne had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 28-16 win over the Lynn Vo-Tech Tigers on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Canalmen.

Bourne's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lynn Vo-Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Bourne will challenge West Boylston/Tahanto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' defense has only allowed 11.6 points per game this season, so the Canalmen's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lynn Vo-Tech, after both having extra time off, they and KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on the 26th.
