Baseball Recap: The O'Neal School Falcons vs. Sandhills Classical Christian Lions
The O'Neal School Falcons made easy work of the Sandhills Classical Christian Lions on Tuesday and carried off a 17-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.
Joey Wade was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Andrew Pavlovich was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Kaiden Taveras was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
The O'Neal School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
