Perry hadn't done well against Avon recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Perry Yellowjackets came out on top against the Avon Braves by a score of 43-31. The victory was nothing new for the Yellowjackets as they're now sitting on six straight.

Avon lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Angelie Salogar, who posted seven points and three steals. Maria Geary was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven boards and five steals.
