Volleyball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll lost against Badin back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots came up short against the Rams, falling 3-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-18.

Ryan Snizik paced Carroll's offense, picking up five kills. Snizik got some help from Sam Brun and his seven assists. Finally, Brun was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Carroll now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Badin, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4.

Carroll has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Archbishop McNicholas on the 8th. As for Badin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Loveland on the 7th.
