Basketball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 59-49 to the Sparkman Senators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Senators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-46 on Thursday.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sparkman, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Florence won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Whitesburg Christian Academy at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Sparkman, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on December 4.
