            The San Lorenzo Grizzlies will face off against the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (San Lorenzo has 11 straight  victories, Lick-Wilmerding has five straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
San Lorenzo made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Vallejo, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by  a  16-3 margin over the Redhawks on Tuesday.  Rogelio Hernandez was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   four  hits. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 5.2  strikeouts per game. He was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lick-Wilmerding, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
