Basketball Recap: Addenbrooke Classical Academy Falls Short of St. Mary's in the Playoffs

Addenbrooke Classical Academy and St. Mary squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Addenbrooke Classical Academy had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 58-31 loss at the hands of the St. Mary's Pirates. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Mustangs, who until this matchup were averaging 24.33 points allowed.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Reena Lanzen, who posted 11 points and three steals, and Lucia Rodriguez, who earned 11 points and seven rebounds. Lanzen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.
