Rhea County had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Cleveland Blue Raiders by a score of 9-6 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Golden Eagles: when they faced off against the Blue Raiders last Monday, they had to take a 4-0 defeat.

Levi Love spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Reese Pendergrass was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jax Schmitt, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Pendergrass wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Rhea County lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Rhea County's record now sits at 6-16. As for Cleveland, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-8.

Rhea County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Raiders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
