Basketball Recap: Madison Myers' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lebanon over Waynesville

Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 63-55 to the Waynesville Tigers. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 64-59 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Madison Myers, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 boards. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Perryman, who went 6-for-14 en route to 14 points and five rebounds.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Waynesville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.

Coming up, Lebanon will challenge Kickapoo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waynesville, they will square off against Glendale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
