Baseball Recap: Peak to Peak Comes Up Short

Peak to Peak lost against Colorado Academy last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pumas fell 7-2 to the Mustangs. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peak to Peak saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellis Pangilinan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Pangilinan also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Peak to Peak now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Colorado Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peak to Peak will take on Kent Denver at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Pumas' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sun Devils have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Colorado Academy, they will square off against Jefferson Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
