Recap: Cardinal Hayes Cardinals vs. Nazareth Kingsmen
The Cardinal Hayes Cardinals were the 94-77 winner over the Nazareth Kingsmen when they last played one another back in February of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Cardinal Hayes took a 83-79 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nazareth. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Halon Rawlins was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Rogers, who scored 11 points.
Cardinal Hayes' loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Nazareth, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cardinal Hayes will take on Archbishop Molloy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Nazareth, they will be playing at home against Holy Cross at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
