Centennial suffered their closest defeat since February 2, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Desert Mountain Wolves by a score of 61-59. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Desert Mountain, they moved to 6-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will head out to square off against Sunrise Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Desert Mountain, they will square off against Mountain Pointe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Desert Mountain's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
