Basketball Recap: Elmwood/Plum City Comes Up Short

Elmwood/Plum City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 34th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenwood City Hilltoppers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 56-40 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Elmwood/Plum City's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Glenwood City, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 6-7.

Elmwood/Plum City has already played their next game, a 42-32 win against Chequamegon on the 18th. Glenwood City has also already played their next match (against Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
