The Northview Knights will take on the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Northview sitting on three straight victories and Terre Haute South Vigo on six.
Northview is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped last Friday as they easily beat Brown County 75-21. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Knights had established a 51-point advantage.

Northview relied on the efforts of Carlee Schrader, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards, and Reagin White, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 23 points and six steals. White is becoming a predictor of the Knights' success: when she posts at least 15 points the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when she doesn't). Mackie Pell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Northview was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.
While Terre Haute South Vigo didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They managed a 47-43 win over Owen Valley on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 16-16 at the break, but the Braves were the better team in the second half.
Terre Haute South Vigo found their leader in sophomore Za'Nariae White, who posted 15 points and seven rebounds. The game was White's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Cox, who put up nine points.
Terre Haute South Vigo's record is now 6-0. As for Northview, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Northview has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 25.7 boards per game. However, it's not like Terre Haute South Vigo struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Northview against Terre Haute South Vigo when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 58-23 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
