Volleyball Recap: Clements Gets the Win

Clements hadn't done well against Lexington recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Colts won by a set and slipped past the Golden Bears 2-1. This was payback for the Colts, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Lexington still got an impressive performance from Macy Davis, who had eight digs and two aces.

Clements' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Lexington, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Clements has already played their next game (against Cullman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lexington, they will host Decatur Heritage Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give the Golden Bears their first taste of in-conference action this season.
