Softball Recap: Quincy Trojans vs. Biggs Wolverines
Quincy hadn't beaten Biggs on the road since April 19, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Trojans walked away with a 7-3 win over the Wolverines. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 5, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Jemma Trueblood spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Adrian Goulet was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
Quincy's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Biggs, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-3-1.
Quincy and Biggs will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Trojans see the field they'll take on Portola at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Biggs, their break will end when they face Live Oak at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
