Western won against Logansport last Saturday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Western Panthers pulled ahead with a 56-55 photo finish over the Hamilton Heights Huskies. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Western's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Rawlings led the charge by putting up 14 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Rawlings has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellyse Walden, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.

When it comes to explaining why Hamilton Heights lost, don't look at Katie Brown. Despite the final result, she posted 20 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Rhoton, who scored nine points in addition to six steals and five assists.

Western's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-11. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Hamilton Heights, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
