Bristol-Plymouth RVT scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Bay Path RVT Minutemen by a score of 8-7. If the Craftsmen were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to the Minutemen when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Antonio Cirino was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Jake Laplante, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Bristol-Plymouth RVT and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Bay Path RVT, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bristol-Plymouth RVT will venture away from home to challenge Archbishop Williams at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bay Path RVT, they will head out to square off against Uxbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
