Troy had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pleasant Ridge Rams 54-20. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-10.

Troy pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.1 points over those games. As for Pleasant Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Looking ahead, Troy will head out to take on Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] on Friday. As for Pleasant Ridge, they will host Atchison County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Isabela Major and Kinzee Bauerle.
