Basketball Game Preview: Imlay City Spartans vs. Lake Orion Dragons

After both having extra time off, the Imlay City Spartans and the Lake Orion Dragons will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Imlay City is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Armada just ended the team's three-game winning streak back in December of 2024. They were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 63-34.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Orion). They took their contest two weeks ago with ease, bagging a 56-29 victory over Bay City Western. The win was familiar territory for the Dragons who have now won four games in a row.

Lake Orion's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Imlay City, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
