Baseball Recap: Camarillo Comes Up Short

The Camarillo Scorpions lost 12-1 to the Crescenta Valley Falcons on Tuesday. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camarillo got a good showing from Mac Barlow, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Camarillo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Escobar, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Camarillo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Crescenta Valley, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Camarillo will square off against Buena at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crescenta Valley, they will face off against Mater Dei Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
