Softball Recap: Rochester Zebras vs. Southwood Knights

Rochester proved they can win big on Monday (they won by nine) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Southwood Knights 3-2. This was payback for the Zebras, who suffered a 7-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bria Rensberger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aubrey Wilson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadyn Field, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Rochester hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwood struck out ten times.
