Baseball Recap: Alhambra Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Alhambra waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Mark Keppel Aztecs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 17-1 victory on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Daniel Gonzalez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Lerma, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Alhambra was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .409 or higher in five consecutive matches.
