There's no place like home for Yarmouth, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 64-38 margin over the Cape Elizabeth Capers on Saturday. For the Clippers, this counts as revenge for the 29-28 win the Capers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2018.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Yarmouth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ignatius (Iggy) McGrath, who threw for 453 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Jackson Jabar was (Iggy) McGrath's top target, picking up 177 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 67 yards and one TD on only five carries.

The victory got Yarmouth back to even at 1-1. As for Cape Elizabeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Yarmouth is set to take on their familiar foe Spruce Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,093 yards in their previous games. Meanwhile, Cape Elizabeth will face off against rival Lake Region at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
